Net Communities gives you immediate access to scattered and difficult to reach Technology, Business, Gadget and Lifestyle audiences. A network of highly targeted, hand picked sites, they deliver advertising and marketing solutions across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

We were briefed to provide an animated video for Net Communites new website homepage, to explain what the company did, and how it benefits it’s clients. The design needed to follow the updated branding of the company and integrate very neatly, almost invisibly into their homepage. All the visual work was carried out with Adobe Illustrator and After Effects, and the sound design was created at Podcast Voices and Video.

This is a series of animations for the Business IT Guide website that explain the basics of IT within the small business and startup environment. They were commissioned by podcast voices and video to help their clients target market understand the jargon surrounding IT and to assist in attracting more web traffic to the site.
Initially 6 videos were designed and created, outlining many of the common questions and issues concerning new businesses, such as website design, virus prevention, and data backups.

All the videos were designed and created from scratch using Adobe Illustrator and After Effects using the existing branding of the website. Individual icons were created to help associate each computer or business jargon element visually, before they were all tied together with 3d camera moves and timed to the voiceover and music bed. Key moments of information are highlighted within the animation to encourage the viewer to go directly to the website to find out more and explore the other information that has been made available online.

e-skills UK is the Sector Skills Council for Business and Information Technology, rated ‘outstanding’ in the re-licensing of Sector Skills Councils in 2009. They work on behalf of employers to ensure the UK has the technology skills it needs to succeed in a global digital economy. Their work covers software, internet & web, IT services, telecommunications and business change.

The E-Skills conference video was edited in Premiere Pro from existing source footage. This edit bed was incorporated into the animated backgrounds, where text quotes, mission statements and information was displayed in a visually arresting way. Certain websites also needed to make an appearance and these were screen captured and integrated along with all the logos and After Effects animation and branding that encases the core messages within the video. Finally the finished video was delivered back to Podcast voices and video for the final audio mix.
