Battle Of The Popstars

This was a pitch for a Title Sequence and graphics package for an Entertainment series for Five.
Jamie Theakston presented a super-heavyweight knockout contest to name the nation’s favourite pop star. 32 stars were pitted against each other in a series of head-to-head battles, in the form of video clips and animation. During each ‘fight’, the viewers phone in and vote for their favourite pop star from each round. Our 32 stars punched their way through five successive rounds as 32 stars become 16, 16 become 8 and so on until there was just one pop star left. The storyboard was created using Autodesk Maya and Photoshop.
